Out of Network
I may not work with your insurance or employee benefits, but many insurance companies will cover some or all of the costs for Mental Health services. You will need to pay upfront, and I will give you an invoice to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. To find out if you have Mental Health Coverage, start by checking with your insurance company. Be sure to ask these questions to understand your coverage better:
What are my mental health benefits?
Is there a deductible? If so, has it been met?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
-
My practice is fee for service payments and copay are due electronically 48hrs prior each appointment.
-
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a fee for late cancellations and/or rescheduling appointments

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a process that empowers you to heal and learn more constructive ways to deal with the problems or issues within your life. It can also be a supportive process when going through a difficult period or under increased stress. For some, there may be a lingering stigma attached to psychotherapy, but it's important to understand that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Psychotherapy can be seen as a journey that unfolds through distinct phases, guiding individuals toward self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. Thinking of therapy as a journey can empower individuals and effectively improve their mental well-being.
Brief Psychotherapy
Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) is a strength-based approach to psychotherapy that focuses on solution-building rather than problem-solving. Unlike other forms of psychotherapy that analyze present problems and past causes, SFBT concentrates on concentrates on current circumstances and future hopes within 6 to 12 therapy sessions.
